Salon Littéraire
Salon Littéraire  |  06/20/2019 - 18:00

It is with great pleasure that articule invites you to the the litterary salon of Ronald Rose-Antoinette’s Research Residency on Thursday, June 20.

"Winding through the entrails of the conch shell, the maze of the mangrove, a poetics of the elsewhere slanders the authorial voice. The figure of the One stutters with the many. Indefinite. Aerial. Afloat. Who spoke?

For this exhibition, participants were invited to imagine articule as a meeting place which is both implicated in territorial loss and which provides a space for dreaming and refusal. The works here express the destabilizing experience of movement and loss, and respond by searching for new futures....  - SITUER / SITUATE | Members' Show | Exhibitions

As part of the exhibition Little Egypt Doesn't Dance Here Anymore, articule is pleased to present an artist talk with Nahed Mansour (Toronto).  Nahed Mansour is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist and curator. Working in video, installation and performance, her works typically draw on visual archives to highlight the relationship between entertainment, labour and processes of racialization and gendering.
