It is with great pleasure that articule invites you to the the litterary salon of Ronald Rose-Antoinette’s Research Residency on Thursday, June 20.

"Winding through the entrails of the conch shell, the maze of the mangrove, a poetics of the elsewhere slanders the authorial voice. The figure of the One stutters with the many. Indefinite. Aerial. Afloat. Who spoke?

This Salon Littéraire hopes to powder a smooth but brilliant atmosphere where everyone is responsible for the spiritual welfare of no one, where reading and listening to each other are radicalized as breath, air or wholly spirit. We meet. We drink. We smoke. We co-host our souls.

We play songs to each other, read poetry to each other, weave a palimpsest of our unfinished dissertations and immigration forms – collage, bricolage. We tinker some more under (intimately)...

Following a walk in the neighborhood with a group of Mile End residents, Adeola Enigbokan, in collaboration with Ronald Rose-Antoinette, will present her projects such as Archiving the City and Enstranging the City in relation to the concept of “enstrangement.” The latter refers to a process or act of endowing “strangeness” to an everyday object or situation through modifying one’s perception or by accident.
